There’s nothing we love more than the festivities that follow a wedding ceremony. Our home and venue are filled with people who are celebrating love, their love for you and your love for one another. It’s the happiest day, a special once in a lifetime event that we are honoured to have a role in. At Birtsmorton there’s everything you need to relax, drink, laugh, dance and party with your family and friends.
There’s plenty to explore in our magical venue, you can see the photos but they only tell part of the story. Come and visit us to find out the rest.
Once you are married, start the next part of your wedding day on the Terrace, a south facing veranda that overlooks the moat. Enjoy fizz, cocktails and canapés and admire the beautiful views across the whole estate and Malvern Hills beyond. There’s always a great atmosphere on the Terrace with music playing as you and your guests begin to settle in to your home for the day.
After a while, we suggest that your drinks reception continues in our beautiful rose-filled, heavenly scented White Garden, the crown of the gardens, and the area that takes away the breath of even your most stoic of guests! Play games on the lawns, have photos, mingle and relax before dinner.
On a cooler day make the most of the Great Hall, the oldest room in our moated manor, full of personality, character and even a priest hole or two. There’s an immense crackling log fire to sip mulled drinks by and a Christmas tree in place during December. In a place as full of history as Birtsmorton, there had to be a romantic indoor option.
We have a wide range of choice for you when it comes to the drinks at your wedding, whilst keeping this important part of the day simple and stress-free. Whilst we aren’t a venue that loves a package, we don’t believe in making things more complicated than they have to be. For this reason we have put together a range of tempting options to help those creative juices flow, with a range of packages to suit all tastes and budgets.
If a package isn’t for you, we have an extensive wine list that has been developed with our local wine experts Upton Wines, who are also happy to source any of your favourite tipples. Otherwise you may wish to bring your own booze and that’s fine with us. We have everything in place for you to do this.
Take a seat, you’re just in time for dinner. Brand new for 2023, The Linney is the home of your wedding breakfast and is the perfect blank canvas to really inspire your creative side. Picture an oak beam frame covered with a tan canvas roof, Cotswold stone floor, warm, contemporary lighting and a wall of windows which look out to the Courtyard gardens.
This gorgeous space can be personalised to perfection and has the ability to roll all of the windows away for al-fresco dining. Our team will be by your side to help provide suggestions and advice, we really love to see how different each wedding can be.
