Herefordshire, with its stunning natural backdrop, is the perfect border county for Birtsmorton Court. The unspoilt land of this rural region lends itself to agriculture. A little further afield and you will encounter the scenic town of Hay on Wye, known for its popular festival, when some of the best in the literature world descend on the town. If you are looking to spend some time surrounded by patchwork fields, independent bookshops, coffee shops and restaurants, Hay on Wye is an excellent place to spend a day or two.
