Saturday 7th December saw Birtsmorton Court’s doors wide open as we invited all of our future couples to join us for an afternoon of innovation. We were joined by some of the UK’s leading wedding suppliers all showcasing the newest delights that the wedding industry has to offer.
For those of you who were unable to attend the event, fear not! On hand was the super talented Jasmine Andrews (see our blog on Hayley and Scott’s Wedding) who kindly agreed to take some gorgeous shots, so we could share them with you… Enjoy!
From the get-go one thing we could all agree on is that the marquee had to look incredible. Needless to say, we were not disappointed! We decided to split our marquee into two different sections allowing us and our incredible florists the opportunity to showcase a few different styles and approaches.
We have had the pleasure of working with Clare and her fabulous Lilyfee team on numerous occasions over the past few years and she never ceases to have our jaws on the floor! Her passion for statement florals is infectious and we love seeing what she does with the marquee at Birtsmorton Court. These gorgeous garlands completely transformed our marquee and were a huge hit with all our couples #newtrendalert
Lydia and the team are no strangers to Birtsmorton Court, from delicate spring arrangments to vibrant centrepieces Floral Roundabout are as much a part of the Birtsmorton family as we are. Her stunning geometric display at our showcase was more than we ever could have wished for. Needless to say, we can’t wait to see what Lydia has planned for 2020!
Where would we be without Jenny? Her dramatic designs and out of this world creations have brought to life so many beautiful weddings here and we can’t believe how lucky we are to have her just around the corner from us. For the showcase, Jenny created a bohemian paradise on rustic trestle tables, with draping pastel cloth contrasting against deep greens, purples and reds. It was also Birtsmorton Court’s first (and certainly not last) floral cloud and we couldn’t be more in love!
When it comes to dressing a venue, it’s all in the details. Beth and her team from Etiquette Events spent hours meticulously dressing every chair, place setting and table with their stunning pieces. From decedent charger plates to unique and stylish chair sashes, we were blown away with the beauty of each and every table.
Etiquette Events provided so much more than just these stunning table displays for our showcase, but that’s for part two of this blog!
Last but certainly not least, Gemma from Dream Wild Weddings very kindly sent us some of her exquisite, hand made stationery pieces to use on our tables. From the gorgeous macrame welcome sign (pictured above) to these delicate dried leaf table names, Gemma doesn’t just create stationary, Gemma creates art.
We absolutely loved working with every supplier at our showcase and cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work. The feedback we received from our couples was so much more than we ever could have imagined and we cannot wait to start planning the next event at Birtsmorton Court!
